TikTok account entitlements define the set of business-related features your account can access, organized into three progressive levels. Understanding these levels helps you choose the right tools for your goals, whether you're just starting out or running a large-scale enterprise.

Key concepts

Entitlement level: One of three levels that define your account's access to business features: General TikTok Account, TikTok Account with Advanced Access, or Verified Business Account.
Business verification: A formal review where TikTok validates your business's credentials, a requirement for unlocking the highest entitlement level.
Business Suite: The web and mobile platforms (Web Business Suite or Mobile Business Suite) that house TikTok's suite of tools for businesses.

Three levels of account entitlements

Each entitlement level is designed for different user needs, providing a clear path to unlock more advanced business functionality as you grow.

1. General TikTok Account

This is the standard account everyone begins with. It offers the native TikTok features for content creation, engagement, but does not include entries to Web Business Suite or Mobile Business Suite.

2. TikTok Account with Advanced Access

This intermediate level is granted when you link your TikTok account to a TikTok for Business account or an unverified Business Center. It unlocks additional organic tools and insights for content management and performance analysis.

3. Verified Business Account (formerly known as Registered Business Account)

The highest level, granted after successful business verification. It unlocks enhanced business tools, stronger brand presence, and more advanced conversion capabilities, transforming the account into a full-featured business tool.

How to get more access

Unlocking additional features is straightforward. Follow these paths to upgrade your account's entitlement level.

How to get a TikTok Account with Advanced Access: Link your TikTok account to a TikTok for Business account or an unverified Business Center. Either path will grant you advanced access entitlements.
How to get a Verified Business Account: Complete the business verification process. You can do this through the Web Business Suite, Mobile Business Suite, or by linking your account to a verified Business Center.
- Note: An Organization Account created within a verified Business Center will automatically qualify as a Verified Business Account and have access to functions exclusive to Verified Business Accounts.
